Opposing hasty process Dear Editor, The League of Women Voters of Warren County joins our national headquarters in calling for “a Supreme Court confirmation process that builds trust in our system and ensures an independent judicial branch.” In 2016, the United States Senate believed that a Supreme Court vacancy could sit empty for 300 days to allow the voters to express their preference through their votes in a presidential election. Circling back on hotel Dear Editor, This is in reference to recent now secret meeting about possible hotels that have already been studied and will not benefit the city. Someone here must have their hand in the cookie jar because why else are we being force fed this hotel? Lord knows the people aren’t going to profit from it. Stolen chainsaw has flaws Dear Editor, This is to the person who removed the Stihl chainsaw from my garden shed. I’d first like to start by letting you know that I have been having a little trouble with the throttle sticking, so you will probably want to keep an eye on that when you are using it. I know the chain was off of it when you got it, it’s a fairly simple job to put it back on. No special tools necessary just a flat head screwdriver and a wrench. Cause and effect

Dear Editor, If Donald Trump wins the election, the system is not rigged. If Joe Biden wins the election, it was rigged. If everyone voted by machines, and Trump lost, the machines were rigged. If voting by mail and Trump lost, there was fraud. Only if Trump wins is there no fraud and no rigging. Did President George H.W. Bush or Hillary Clinton say the system was rigged when they lost? Dear Editor, We are making history! It is doubtful that any of our names will be in the history books, but our decisions will be. Therefore, it is important to make the right decisions. How do we do that? Traditionally, we would first, define the issue or problem. Then, gather related information or facts from several reliable sources.
