Time to unite, heal

Dear Editor, Well, there you have it ladies and gentlemen. Like it or not, the fat lady has sung. Finally! The people have spoken. Maybe now, we can get over this nightmare that has wracked our nation for the last four years. It’s time to rebuild, reunite and heal our country, our souls, and our bodies. Our new president-elect knows the problems that need to be addressed to start our healing process. As promised, he has already started to implement his plans of action. He has promised to work for all Americans. Let’s work with him, not against him. Let’s bring our great ...

Votes an edict on virus

Dear Editor, COVID has affected so much of our lives. One thing was being able to vote by mail. This did two things. Signs are past time

Dear Editor, It is time to take down those terrible political signs. I do believe that after election day, you can be fined for having them. Get rid of them. The are nothing but eyesores and reminders that President Trump did lose the election. Julie Brown, Warren

Allegations are ‘baseless’

Dear Editor, The Editorial Page cartoon in the Times Observer (Nov. 7) was an insult to all poll workers. Why would you choose to exacerbate the already toxic climate of fear and misunderstanding at this most crucial time for our community and nation? I spent 10 hours sorting and analyzing ballots at the Warren County Courthouse on election day. I was one of six citizens, three Republicans and three Democrats, who had volunteered to assist in the vote verification process. We were sworn in by Commissioner Ben Kafferlin in the presence of County Solicitor Nathaniel Schmidt. An ...
