Jacqueline Peterson
Jacqueline “Jackie” Elmhurst Peterson, 78, of Indian Rocks Beach Florida, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 5th. She passed away peacefully while being lovingly cared for by her son Bill and daughter in-law Kim, while surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, in Tennessee.
She was born to Howard and Pauline Elmhurst on February 8, 1943, in Warren, PA.
Jackie was the older sis-ter to Barb Elmhurst Henry (Terry Henry). She grew up in Warren, where her mom and dad ran a grocery store. She spent many of her summers with her grandma and cousins in Hornell, NY.
Jackie worked and modeled for Betty Lee after high school. She later moved to Florida, where she worked at Honeywell. Jackie oversaw the work done on the navigational systems of B52’s until her retirement.
She was a beloved member of her church and was loved by all who knew her. She had a very kind and giving heart. She was always up for doing something fun, whether it was crafting, bingo, going to arts and craft shows, or traveling.
Jackie was devoted to her grandchildren and spent much of her time in Warren and Tennessee to spend time with them. She was a friend to all and was always willing to help those in need.
Jackie is survived by her sister Barb and sons Bill, Brad and Brody, her grandchildren, John, Kelsey, Tyler, Natalie, Owen and Jackie Peterson and great grandchildren, Taevin, Piper, Blake, Alaina.
Jackie will be greatly missed by all those that had the privilege of getting to know her.
