Warren Garden Club held its first meeting recently and welcomed Rosie Lawrence, District VIII director, who installed the officers for this year – Cynthia Jarzab and Rebecca Ryan as co-presidents, Marysue See as secretary, Kristine Whitaker as treasurer and Linda Miniaci as corresponding secretary. Past President Olivia Sechriest, was honored with her past president’s pin and the honor of a copper leaf placed on the tree in the Municipal Building of Warren in honor of her devotion to the municipal gardens and to all of the gardens in the City of Warren. The next meeting will be April 18 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 1 p.m. and include a workshop on making a design in a teacup. Teacups, flowers, greens and accessories will be provided.
