As of early afternoon, the event boasted a packed house in both bays of the Youngsville fire hall.

The event featured nearly 50 vendors offering services to seniors.

Raffles for Visa gift cards and various baskets, along with giveaways from vendors throughout the building were offered.

Lunch was provided by the Rouse Estate and cookies for dessert were provided by the Watson Home.

A virtual dementia session and fall prevention presentations were available.

The event was organized by the local Care Counsel, operating under the auspices of Experience, Inc. The Care Counsel is a coalition of organizations with a “no wrong door” policy. Organizations within the care counsel can redirect inquiries to other organizations regardless of point of contact.

Organizer Kimberly Wilson thanked the event’s sponsors saying, “It really helps the Care Counsel. It’s a big thing. It helps.”
