The Youngsville Public Library was started in 1935 and the new building in its current location opened in 2002. Over the years local libraries have had to deal with many changes in funding at the state and local level, which has created budget shortfalls. The library also does not receive any federal funding. Outdoor Club To Hike Sunday In Marienville The Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike Sunday, Jan. 11, on the North Country Trail in Marienville. Christian Women To Meet Dec. 9 Village Missions Country Partners Warren-Jamestown Christian Women will gather at 11:30 a.m. for a noon luncheon Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Praise Fellowship Church, Russell, with a snow date of Dec. 16. Bazaar browsing will be in the lobby with Christmas items for sale. Spiritual speaker and music will feature Jeremy Earnheardt of Warren.
