Outdoor Club To Visit Oil Creek State Park Sunday The Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride, bike or hike in the Oil Creek State Park on Sunday, Aug. 24. Members will take part in an out and back ride/hike and can go as far as they want. The trail is 9 miles one way. Members will meet at 2 p.m. at Petroleum Center, 305 State Park, Oil City. Blood drives scheduled The Community Blood Bank will hold a blood drive from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Warren Manor and 1:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Youngsville Volunteer Fire Department. The blood bank will also hold a blood drive from noon to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 19 at Holy Redeemer Church. Call 814-596-3395 to schedule an appointment to donate. Military Share food distribution is June 27 The next Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania’s Warren County Military Share food distribution will take place on Friday, June 27, at 2 p.m. The program supports income-qualifying active or retired military members and their immediate families in need of food.
