A Titusville man is behind bars in Erie County while a Conneaut, Ohio, woman is jailed in Warren County stemming from the theft of a Dodge Ram truck. Zachary R. Thompson, 27, and Alesha M. Baker, 23, have been charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police in connection with the January incident. ERIE — An Erie resident has been sentenced in federal court to two years probation on his conviction of violating federal drug laws. United States District Judge Susan Paradise Baxter imposed the sentence on Matthew Camera, 51, 1100 Wildwood Way, Erie. According to information presented to the court, January 2017 to June 2020, while Camera was employed as the Pharmacy Chief at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Erie, he unlawfully obtained multiple dosage units of Hydrocodone and Oxycodone from pill bottles awaiting delivery to Veterans Affairs patients. Two guilty pleas were entered, charges were withdrawn against one and one defendant was held for court during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.
