Two guilty pleas were entered, charges were withdrawn against one and another was held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ Rodney P. Turner, 57, Warren, to possession of a controlled substance. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

¯ Tyler J. Whipple, 32, Warren, to possession of a controlled substance. Charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn.

¯ Charges of criminal mischief and harassment were withdrawn against Christopher C. Nelson, 43, Sheffield.

¯ Joshua M. Verrett, 24, Jamestown, NY, was held for court. Verrett has been charged with possession of firearm prohibited and criminal mischief.
