Sentences handed down in Warren County Court

President Judge Maureen Skerda sentenced the following individuals on Friday morning at the Warren County Courthouse. ¯ Amber L. Albaugh, 36, Warren, to one year probation, $2,191.74 in restitution, $1,275 in fines and fees, 80 hours of community service, submission of a DNA sample and compliance with mental health and drug and alcohol treatment recommendations on a count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. ¯ Rosalie C. Pleas entered at preliminary hearings

Two guilty pleas were entered while one was held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse. The following defendants entered guilty pleas: ¯ Franz J. Henninger, 75, Warren, to disorderly conduct. A count of criminal mischief — damage property was not prosecuted. ¯ Brian Allen, 43, to possession of a controlled substance and public drunkenness. A count of possession of marijuana was withdrawn. ¯ Bruce A. Messenheimer, 31, Corry, was held for court on charges of strangulation, simple assault and harassment.

New York man pleads in attempted stabbing

A New York man has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault from an incident where he threatened to kill an individual with a “big boy blade.” Jason A. Hogle, 38, Olean, pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and contraband before President Judge Maureen Skerda this week. Hogle was charged back in April.
