Sentence handed down in county court
One sentence and one bench warrant were handed down as a result of sentencing proceedings held Friday before Judge Gregory Hammond.
Jessica L. Bailey, 38, Clarendon, was sentenced to DUI charges at two dockets. At the first docket, Bailey was sentenced to five years probation including 30 days incarceration, 60 days house arrest, $2,375 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, an 18 month license suspension, 40 hours of community service, compliance with treatment recommendations and submission of a DNA sample on a count of DUI — second offense as well as $70 each on charges of disregard traffic lane, careless driving and restrictions on alcoholic beverages. Hammond gave her credit for one day time served and made her work release eligible.
At a second docket, Bailey was sentenced to a consecutive five year probation sentence including 30 days incarceration and 60 days house arrest, $1,900 in fines and fees, an 18 month license suspension and 40 hours of community service on a count of DUI — third offense as well as $1,045 in fines and fees and a 12 month license suspension on a count of driving on a suspended license and $70 on a count of careless driving.
A bench warrant was issued for failure to appear against Joshua M. Verrett, 25, Jamestown, NY. Verrett faces charges of possession of firearm prohibited and criminal mischief.
