Spring Creek man behind bars after assault

Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police have arrested a Spring Creek teenager in the wake of an assault that saw him threaten to kill his mother and then heavily damage a family vehicle. Troopers were dispatched on Tuesday shortly after 2:30 p.m. to a Miles Run Road address for a report of an active domestic dispute. Attack on nurse lands patient in state prison

A Warren State Hospital patient will spend at least two years in state prison after assaulting a nurse. Andrew J. Burrows, 29, Warren, was sentenced by President Judge Maureen Skerda. Chief Public Defender Kord Kinney said his client called 911 as soon as he realized the extent of the injuries, acknowledging that Burrows faced a state prison sentence. An Olean, New York, man is headed to state prison for his role in an attempted knife attack. President Judge Maureen Skerda handed down the sentence on Friday. According to the affidavit of probable cause, Jason A.
