Theft. Dakota M. Thayer, 19, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on Aug. 5 with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property from an incident that occurred on July 26 in the City of Warren.
Possession. Thomas R. Eaton, Jr., 30, Clarendon, was charged by City of Warren police on Aug. 3 with possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance from an incident that occurred on July 11 in the City of Warren.

Resisting arrest. Kevin J. Powers, 33, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on Aug. 5 with resisting arrest, two counts of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness from an incident that occurred on Aug. 4 in the City of Warren.
Brokenstraw Township
Found property. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police are looking for the owner of a Samsung Galaxy J7V cellphone which was located at the Buckaloons campground. Anyone looking to claim the phone will be required to identify the phone and its case.
Cherry Grove
Township
Burglary. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police report that a Warren man arrived at his camp on Hearts Content Road and found it unlocked with evidence that someone at the scene had been staying there for an extended period. Troopers say the investigation is ongoing and that evidence at the scene identified a suspect.
Pleasant Township
Criminal mischief. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police received a report of criminal mischief for damage to a mailbox located on Richland Ln. overnight from July 13 into July 14. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
Spring Creek Township
Crash. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on July 24 at 12:23 a.m. Troopers state that Mason T. Edwards, 20, Erie, Pa., was traveling east on Route 426 in a 2012 Dodge Journey and while attempting to avoid a deer left the roadway and struck a utility pole. That, according to police, caused the vehicle to rollover and strike a tree. Minor injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene. Troopers cited Edwards for operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility.
