State police release results of June enforcement efforts

The Pennsylvania State Police Liquor Enforcement Officers of the Erie District Office issued the results of its June enforcement efforts.

Three Warren County establishments — Double D’s in Pittsfield, Draft House in Warren, and Down Under in Youngsville — were among the 13 in the Erie District that received citations in June.

Each citation indicates that the establishment: “served or sold food and/or alcohol intended for on-premise consumption, or allowed the consumption of food and/or alcohol on the premises, in violation of Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board Advisory Notice No. 26 which was issued during a time of emergency declared by the governor.”

State police said penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 could be imposed for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for “more serious offenses.”

“The ALJ can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought” or “mandate training for the licensee in an effort to educate them on the requirements of being a licensee.”

The district office has not released a list of citations issued in July.
