Preliminary hearings held in county court

Nine guilty pleas were entered, charges were withdrawn against three while two were held for court during preliminary hearings held this week at the Warren County Courthouse.

Guilty pleas were entered by the following defendants:

¯ Amanda Brown, Sheffield, to possession of a controlled substance and driving while operating privilege suspended or revoked. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and fail to use safety belt were withdrawn.

¯ Correy J. Bush, Kannapolis, N.C, to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

¯ Noah S. Entrekin, Sugar Grove, to disorderly conduct. Charges of marijuana – small amount personal use, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to stop at red signal were withdrawn.

¯ Robert L. Gardner, Gerry, N.Y, to possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of public drunkenness was withdrawn.

¯ Ashley A. Jipson, Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Jason K. Lundmark, Warren, to possession of marijuana and harassment. Two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn.

¯ Christopher D. March, Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of corruption of minors was withdrawn.

¯ Rachel M. McDunn, Warren, to possession of a controlled substance. Five counts of possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn.

¯ Jaime S. Turner, Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of corruption of minors was withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following:

¯ Andrew S. Haines, Warren. Haines had been charged with simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Peggy S. Haines, Warren. Haines had been charged with simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Shania R. Hoffner, Warren. Hoffner had been charged with simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

The following defendants were held for court.

¯ Michael R. Battko, Sugar Grove. Battko has been charged with criminal attempt — burglary, criminal trespass — break into structure, criminal mischief — damage property, conspiracy (burglary), conspiracy (criminal trespass — break into structure) and conspiracy (criminal mischief — damage property).

¯ Robert L. Dell, III, Pittsfield. Hell has been charged with burglary, criminal trespass — break into structure, criminal mischief — damage property, conspiracy (burglary), conspiracy (criminal trespass – break into structure) and conspiracy (criminal mischief — damage property).
