Defendants sentenced on Friday in Warren County court

President Judge Maureen Skerda handed down the following sentences during sentence court proceedings on Friday morning at the Warren County Courthouse:

¯ Angela K. Buchleitner-Miller, Warren, to a five-year intermediate punishment sentence on a count of felony retail theft. Skerda ordered the restrictive portion to include one-month incarceration and 10 months house arrest with GPS and drug patch monitoring and said she can be released to transitional housing if approved. She was ordered to pay $1,860.39 in restitution to Walmart, $2,025 in fines and fees, a no contact/no trespass order, submission of a DNA sample and submission to treatment court, including three AA/NA meetings weekly, obtaining a home group and sponsor and working a 12 step program. At a second docket, she was sentenced to 53 days to two years less one-day incarceration to be served concurrently, $529.87 in restitution, $775 in fines and fees and a no contact/no trespass order on a count of retail theft. She was sentenced to an additional consecutive year of probation on a count of defiant trespass.

¯ Howard E. Easton, Warren, to 16 to 60 months incarceration in state prison, $101.70 in restitution, $2,500 in fines and fees, an 18-month license suspension and no boot camp/recidivism risk reduction incentive eligibility on a count of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – second offense. He was fined a total of $70 on a count of failure to stop at a red signal. At a second docket, he was sentenced to 12 to 24 months incarceration in state prison, $725 in fines and fees, no boot camp or recidivism risk reduction incentive eligibility and priority for a special needs unit and mental health evaluation in the state prison system on a count of recklessly endangering another person.

¯Tylor R. Keyes, Grand Valley, to a $300 fine and an assessment with Family Services to determine whether participation in anger management or healthy relationship programs are needed on a count of harassment.

¯ Kristopher A. Wright, Warren, to a five-year intermediate punishment sentence on a count of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – third offense. Skerda ordered the restrictive portion to include 28 days of inpatient treatment for which he was given time served credit to be followed by 11 months and two days of house arrest with SCRAM monitoring. The duration will be served on probation. He was ordered to pay $3,350 in fines and fees, complete the victim impact panel and alcohol highway safety school programs, an 18-month license suspension and participation in treatment court, including attending three AA/NA meetings weekly, obtaining a home group and sponsor and working a 12 step program.

A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Bethanie T. Clark, Steamburg, NY. Clark was to be sentenced at one docket on charges of DUI: Controlled substances/impaired ability – first offense and driving while under suspension and on a count of bad checks at a second docket.
