Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 24 at 12:47 p.m., Melanie Jackson, 33, of Warren, was traveling west on Rt. 27 when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a left-hand curve. Police report the vehicle spun in a counter-clockwise direction and left the northside of the roadway before striking a ditch. Police said the vehicle continued over the ditch and hit a tree on the north berm before coming to a rest. Police report no injuries were received by Jackson or her four juvenile passengers. Jackson was cited for Driving at a safe speed.

Criminal Trespass. Warren-based state police report between 5 p.m. on Nov. 27 and 10 a.m. on Nov.. 28, an unknown person entered the victim’s shed on Hull Hill Rd. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren-based state police or Warren County Crimestoppers.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 20 at 11:48 a.m., Robert Kreitzbender Jr., 28, of Youngsville, was traveling west at a high rate of speed on Old Pittsfield Rd. when his vehicle lost traction and traveled off the eastern berm. Police report the vehicle struck an electric line attached to a utility pole before spinning in a clockwise direction and coming to a rest in a nearby yard. Police report Kreitzbender fled the scene of the accident and was identified later at his residence. No injuries were received in the accident and Kreitzbender was cited for fleeing the scene of an accident and several other traffic violations.

Glade Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 25 at 10:45 p.m., Leilani Lord, 35, of Warren, was traveling west on Hatch Run Rd. when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a right-hand curve. Police report the vehicle spun counter clockwise, slid across the roadway and traveled off the eastern berm. The vehicle then traveled 36 feet and down a slight embankment. According to police, the right side of the vehicle made initial impact with the embankment. Lord received moderate injuries was transported for treatment. Lord was cited for Driving at a safe speed.

Sheffield Twp.

Control of Alarm Devices. Warren-based state police report a citation was issued on Nov. 29 at 3 a.m., to Sheffield Middle High School for causing or permitting in excess of three alarms within 12 consecutive months. The alarm causing the citation was the fourth alarm in 12 consecutive months.

Triumph Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 23 at 10:13 p.m., Jared Kum, 24, of Tidioute, was traveling east on Emerson Hill Rd. when he lost control of his vehicle while attempting to make a right hand turn onto Youngsville Rd. The vehicle slid across the intersection and off the southeast berm where it struck a utility pole. The vehicle then spun in a counter clockwise direction and came to rest facing east. After the accident, the driver then left the scene and drove the vehicle to a Grand Valley residence. Police report Kum failed to notify police by the quickest means and was cited for driving at a safe speed. Kum and his passenger sought treatment at Titusville Hospital.

Sheffield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on Nov. 26 at 4:45 p.m. on US 6 west of Deer Lick Road. A 2002 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Marisa Cobb, Bradford, was traveling east on US 6 and lost control on the snow covered roadway and subsequently slid off the right shoulder, striking the ditch/embankment. The vehicle received moderate damage to the front driver side bumper, hood and engine area and the rear driver tail light assembly. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Cobb reported a minor injury to her head and was evaluated on scene by Sheffield VFD personnel. A passenger, Kyla Hoag, Kane, was not injured. Cobb was cited for driving at safe speeds through District Justice Glenn Carlson’s office.

Crash. Corry-based state police report on Nov. 24 at 4:30 p.m., a 17-year-old male was traveling westbound on Sample Flats Rd. when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered road. According to police, the vehicle went into a ditch, struck an embankment, and rolled over. Police report the driver received minor injuries and was cited for Driving vehicle at safe speed.

Eldred Twp.

Cruelty to Animals. Warren-based state police report sometime between Nov. 20 and Nov. 23, two dogs were shot with a small caliber firearm in a wooded area north of Scouten Lane. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren-based state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 23 at 4:56 p.m., Samantha Osborne, 19, of Sugar Grove, was traveling east on Rt. 27 when she lost control of her vehicle, spun in a clockwise direction, and left the southern edge of the road. The vehicle came to rest after striking a ditch. The driver was not injured and was issued a citation for Driving vehicle at safe speed.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 23 at 4:16 p.m., Howard Colvin, 58, of Pittsfield, was traveling west on Rt. 27 when he lost control of his vehicle negotiating a left hand turn over a bridge and hit a concrete guide rail. The driver was not injured and was issued a citation for Driving vehicle at safe speed.

Sheffield

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 23 at 6:40 p.m., a 17-year-old male from Sheffield, was traveling southbound on Rt. 666 when he lost control of his vehicle on the ice covered roadway while negotiating a curve. Police report the vehicle spun counterclockwise, left the east side of the roadway, entered a ditch and rolled onto it’s right side. The driver received minor injuries and was cited by police for driving at safe speed.

Sugar Grove

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 23 at 5:58 p.m., Terry Stewart, 61, of Little Hocking, Ohio, was traveling west on Rt. 69 when he lost control of his vehicle and left the north side of the roadway. Police report the vehicle struck an embankment and a tree before coming to rest. The driver was not injured and was cited for Driving vehicle at safe speed.

McKean County

Missing Person. Kane-based state police report Albert “Bud” DiFonzo, Jr. 52, of Henderson Rd., Lafayette Twp., has been missing since Nov. 21, at 11 a.m. He is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 215 lbs. He has short brown hair and brown eyes. DiFonzo is possibly operating a two-tone brown colored 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe displaying PA registered plate JGW1420.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 20 at 6:16 p.m. someone used a sharp object to cut a dog leash at the victim’s Eldred Center Road. residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Pittsfield Twp.

PFA violation. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 18 at 3:36 p.m. Brian Garges, 24, Bradford, violated a protection from abuse order that was in place by contacting the protected person by telephone. Police said Garges proceeded to contact the protected person eight times in a four-hour period. Police said Garges was taken into custody on the violation and arraigned in front of District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth. Bail was set at $25,000 and Garges was committed to the Warren County Jail.

Youngsville

Theft. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 19 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. someone unlawfully syphoned approximaely $40 of gasoline from a vehicle owned by a female from Tidioute. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Intimidation of witnesses or victims. City of Warren police report charging David Oberg, 53, with intimidation of witnesses or victims on Nov. 13.

Open burning. City of Warren police report citing Michael Fredericks, 41, with open burning on Nov. 14. According to police, Fredericks was found burning refuse within the city limits.

Careless driving. City of Warren police report charging William Ward, 23, Pittsfield, with careless driving on Nov. 14 after an accident in which a parked vehicle was struck.

Retail theft. City of Warren police report charging a juvenile with retail theft on Nov. 7. According to police, the juvenile attempted to steal merchandise totaling $2.50 from a local retailer.

Fugitive from justice. City of Warren police report charging Charles King, 57, Thousand Oaks, Calif., with fugitive from justice on Nov. 17. According to police, King was found to have a warrant for his arrest from California. King was placed in the Warren County Jail on $50,000 bail.

Harassment. City of Warren police report charging Tommaso Clement, 33, and Desirae Merritt, 25, with harassment on Nov. 17 following a domestic dispute.

Aggravated assault. City of Warren police report charging Kristan Seyfang, 24, with aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person on Nov. 3 following a domestic dispute. Seyfang was arraigned before District Justice Laura Bauer and placed in the Warren County Jail on $500 bail.

Harassment. City of Warren police report charging Lucille Talentinow, 21, with harassment on Nov. 11 following a domestic dispute.

Escape. City of Warren police report charging Alexander L. Rosenburgh, 19, Grand Valley, with escape and institutional vandalism on Nov. 18. According to police, Rosenburgh attempted to escape from the Warren County Jail. Rosenburgh was arraigned before District Justice Glenn Carlson and remanded to the Warren County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Clarendon

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of criminal mischief which occurred between 3 p.m. on Nov. 12 and 11 a.m. on Nov. 18 at a construction site behind 9 Center St. According to police, someone smashed the windshield of a Kobelco 8008 backhoe belonging to Wilson Excavating of New Wilmington. Damage is estimated at approximately $300.

Arrest. On Nov. 19 at 12:45 p.m., Pennsylvania State Constables arrested Dakota Wilson, 18, Warren, on a charge of purchasing an alcoholic beverage by a minor. Wilson was taken before District Justice Glenn Carlson and released pending further court action.

Harassment. On Nov. 19 at 10:30 a.m., Pennsylvania State Constables arrested Wayne Glasgow, 22, Warren, on a charge of harassment with physical contact. Glasgow was taken before District Justice Glenn Carlson and remanded to the Warren County Jail.

Farmington Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police report between 5:20 and 8:17 p.m. on Oct. 26 someone obtained credit card information belonging to a Lanning Hill Road resident and made multiple unauthorized purchases from a Kwik Fill in Erie. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Sheffield Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report between 5 p.m. Nov. 17 and midnight Nov. 18 someone used a sharp object to cut both passenger-side tires of the victim’s 2001 truck parked at a Van Ettan Street residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report between 6:25 p.m. on Nov. 10 and 3:15 p.m. Nov. 12 someone scratched an obscenity into the side of a Lanning Hill resident’s 2001 vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 11 at 10:33 p.m., Mark Blair, 33, Sugar Grove, was traveling south on Hazeltine Hollow Road when he lost control negotiating a right-hand turn. Police report the vehicle left the east side of the roadway and hit a barbed wire fence with the driver’s side of the vehicle before coming to rest facing south. Police said Blair was uninjured and was cited with driving at a safe speed. Blair’s vehicle was towed from the scene.

Triumph Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 12 at 7:43 p.m., Travis Berkhous, 23, Tidioute, was traveling west on Babylon Hill Road when he lost control negotiating a left-hand turn. Police report the vehicle spun counter-clockwise before leaving the left side of the roadway, hitting a ditch, and flipping over onto its passenger’s side. Police said Berkhous was uninjured and was cited for driving at a safe speed. Police said the vehicle was flipped onto its wheels and driven from the scene.

Criminal trespass/mischief. Corry-based state police said on Nov. 18 someone went to the east side of C. Cummings & Sons, 45490 Route 6, Corry, and smashed out the window to gain entry. The alarm was set off before anything was stolen. Estimae of damagewas one window valued at $150, according to police.

Conewango Twp.

Theft. Conewango Township police were dispatched on Oct. 10 to Wal-Mart at Warren Commons for a report of a theft. According to police, Joshua Goodnight, 26, Mississippi, concealed $540.22 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying for it. Police said Goodnight was arrested and arraigned before before District Justice Glenn Carlson and remanded to the Warren County Jail on $10,000 bail.

Mead Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police investigated a domestic dispute on Nov. 12. Police said it was determined that Raymond E. Barber, 42, Warren, and Lynette M. Barber, 44, Warren, subjected each other to physical contact. A charge of harassment is pending through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office for both parties, according to police.

Pleasant Twp.

Forgery/fraud. Warren-based state police said between Jan, 7 and Aug. 12 Suzanne E. Flasher, 62, Clarendon, wrote and in some cases signed checks from two accounts belonging to an 83-year-old victim from Warren. Police said Flasher was not authorized to do so. The checks totaled $10,753. Police said Flasher was arraigned Nov. 18 in front of District Justice Cynthia Lindmuth. Bail was set at $25,000 and Flasher was released on her own recognizance.

Mead Twp.

Hit and run. Warren-based state police report investigating a hit and run crash which occurred on Rocky Hill Ln. between 1:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 17.

According to police, a blue Chevy Silverado belonging to Justin Crossley, 28, Kittanning, was struck while parked by a red SUV, possibly a Ford Escape or Chevy Equinox.

Police report the suspected vehicle would have damage to the driver’s side fender and bumper area, including a broken headlight, and may have blue paint on it from the Silverado.

Pleasant Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of DUI which occurred at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 15 on Rt. 62, south of Lenhart Road.

According to police, David L. Rhoades, 52, Warren, was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Charges including two counts of DUI, careless driving and other summary traffic violations were filed with District Judge Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report between the hours of 5 p.m. Nov. 8 and noon Nov. 9, someone damaged a Scandia Rd. mailbox owned by Michele Thomas by throwing a glass bottle at it. Mead Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 6 at 2:30 p.m., Timothy Mullen, 23 was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at the intersection of Rt. 59 and Brown Run. According to police, after Mullen was arrested, he was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Police charged Mullen with possession of marijuana, DUI, and other traffic violations.

Pittsfield

Bad checks. Warren-based state police report on Oct. 1, Kimberly Lawson, 44, of Garland, issued a bad check to Cynthia Shield, of Russell, for rent payment, which was returned for insufficient funds.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 11 at 6:35 a.m., Diane Hajec, 53, of Pittsfield, was traveling east on Rte. 27 when a deer entered the east bound lane. Hajec’s vehicle struck the deer causing disabling damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.

Criminal mischief. Conewango Township Police report between the hours of 9:30 p.m. Oct 28 and 7 a.m. Oct. 29, someone broke out the driver’s window of a 2005 Hyundai Tucson parked off Pennsylvania Ave. West between Superior Tire and Betts Industries. Damages are in the amount of $326. Anyone with information is asked to contact Conewango Twp. Police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Farmington Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police report between the hours of 11 a.m. Oct. 31 and 11 a.m. Nov. 1, someone entered a residence on SR 957 and took a bag of prescription medication.

Tidioute Borough

Harassment. After an investigation into an incident that took place on Nov. 5 at 4 Water St., Tidioute Borough Police are charging Rhonda Barton, 48, of Tidioute, and Shelly Coates, 49, of Tidioute, with harassment. Charges were filed with District Justice, Cynthia Lindemuth.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police said on Nov. 3, Todd Haight, 46, Ludlow, was traveling West on SR6, with 2 passingers, in his Ford F-150, left the North side of the roadway striking a ditch. Haight continued West in the ditch when it struck a culvert pipe. Haight traveled approximately 20 feet after hitting the culvert before coming to a stop facing west off the north side of the roadway in a ditch. Haight was uninjured and his two passengers had minor abrasions from their seat belt but did not seek medical attention.

Youngsville

Theft Unlawful Taking. Warren-based state police said on Nov. 7, a known juvenile stole $60 from a known juvenile victim’s wallet during gym class at Youngsville High School. A juvenile allegation was filed with the Warren County Juvenile Probation Department charging the accused with Theft.

Pittsfield

Crash. Warren-based state police said on Nov. 8, Freya Scott, 39, Garland, was traveling east on SR-27 (Main St.) in her Ford Explorer. As she traveled across a bridge, Scott lost control of her vehicle on the slosh/snow covered roadway. Scott traveled 105′ off the north berm, tried to regain control causing the vehicle to travel 122′ across the roadway striking a house and porch on the south side of the roadway. Scott’s vehicle was removed from the scene by Scott, police said.

Conewango Twp.

Hit and Run. Conewango Township Police said on Nov. 6, between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. a gray Subaru traveling north on Beech Street went off the right hand of the roadway, striking decorative trees belonging to Donald First. The vehicle should have passenger side damage and damage to the passenger mirror. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Conewango Twp. Police at 814-726-0725

Warren

Bad checks. Warren City Police charged Jodi Rafalski, 41, Warren, with bad checks after it was found she had issued a check in the amount of $475 for rent, which was returned for non-sufficient funds on Oct. 21.

False reports. Warren City Police charged Joseph Hensley, 18, Warren, with false reports after he falsely incriminated another person. He was arraigned and placed in the Warren County Jail on $2,500 bail on Oct. 19.

Cited. Warren City Police cited Cristina Bean, 22 Warren, for dogs running at large after police received a report that her dogs were on a porch that was not hers on Oct. 18.

Public drunkenness. Warren City Police charged Thomas Moore, 30, Russell, with public drunkenness after police received a call from residents that an intoxicated male was on their porch on Oct. 19.

Theft. Warren City Police charged John Soderberg, 38, Pittsfield, with theft of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of prescribed medication not in proper container, after officers responded to a report that a car had been broken into. Police said Soderberg was arraigned and placed in the Warren County Jail on $10,000 bail on Oct. 20.

Cited. Warren City Police cited Diane Peffer, 66, Clarendon, for careless driving after her vehicle struck the Thorne’s BiLo building, Market Street Plaza, after attempting to park on Oct. 21.

Charged. Warren City Police charged Kymberli Bogardus, 21, Jamestown, N.Y., with escape, obstructing administration of law or other government functions, false ID to law enforcement, and pedestrians crossing at other than crosswalks after she refused to return to the jail at the direction of her probation officer and then ran away on Oct. 21.

Cited. Warren City Police cited Annalisa Larkin, 43, Warren, with allowing dogs to run at large after a mail carrier was bitten by her dog on Oct. 26.

DUI. Warren City Police charged Lawrence Deveraux, 49, Warren with two count DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under a suspension following a report of an erratic driver on Oct. 26.

Public drunkenness. Warren City Police cited Michael Burham, 25, Ashville, N.Y.; William Survoviec, 31, of Clymer, N.Y.; and Brian Viglo, 37, Warren, with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after officers received a call that three males were urinating on Hickory Street on Oct. 28.

Simple assault. Warren City Police charged Robert Parsons, 48, Warren, with simple assault, harassment, and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Oct. 29.

DUI. Warren City Police charged Gerald Lundberg, 23, Warren, with two counts DUI and one count careless driving after officers observed him driving carelessly on Oct. 30.

Terroristic threats. Warren City Police charged Corey Shirley, 24, Warren, with terroristic threats and harassment after officers responded to a domestic dispute on Nov. 1.

Cited. Warren City Police charged Jeffrey Kirk, 28, Loudon, N.H., for required position and method of turning, following a two-car accident at Conewango and Pennsylvania avenues on Oct. 1.

Conewango Twp.

Retail theft. Conewango Township Police report on Nov. 4 at 2:15 p.m. Jeromy Kemery, 20, Warren, was stopped by loss prevention personnel at Wal-Mart after they observed him taking a Bluetooth wireless speaker valued at $52.88 without paying for it. Police said Kemery confessed to the theft. Police said it was also learned that Kemery had been convicted of a retail theft in September at the Wal-Mart in Corry, which made the Nov. 4 retail theft charge a second degree misdemeanor. Police said the charge was file with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office and Kemery was released.

Warren County

Warrant arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Paula Ortega (AKA Hetrick), 41, Clarendon, on Nov. 5. Ortega was arrested on a bench warrant issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas for failure to appear for arraignment court. Police said she was placed in the Warren County Prison pending further court action.

Warren County

Probation violation. On Nov. 6, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department with assistance from Warren County Sheriff’s deputies, arrested David Mosher, 47, Titusville, on charges of violation of probation. Mosher, who was originally placed on probation on the charge of possession with intent to deliver, was taken into custody by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant, and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Columbus Twp.

Criminal mischief. Corry-based state police report on Nov. 5 at 10:20 a.m. someone caused damage to a metal post connected to a stop sign at the intersection of Jacks Lane and South Street.

Youngsville

Theft. Youngsville Borough police said they are investigating a theft that occurred sometime in mid-September at Youngsville High School. The victim, who is a YHS staff member, reported that a laptop computer was taken from her classroom. Anyone with any information is asked to call the borough police at 563-7555 or Crimestoppers.

Warren

Warrant arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Nikita Rugg, 22, Youngsville, at 204 Fourth Ave., on Nov. 4. He was arrested on warrants issued by District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth and District Justice King. He was taken in front of Lindemuth and was later released, according to police.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police are investigating an incident on a lease road off Couvers Crossing. Police said a known male is alleged to have punched a GMC pick-up truck owned by James Justice, Warren, causing damage. The investigation is continuing. Pine Grove Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police said that on Nov 3, Mark English, 34, East St., Russell, reported that someone damaged his screen door by throwing a pumpkin at it and then used an unknown object to strike the entry door of the victim’s residence causing damage. Loss is estimated at $300. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren Crime Stoppers.

Sheffield Twp.

Theft/scam. Warren-based state police are investigating a theft that occurred between Oct. 28 to Nov. 4 involving a scam that resulted in an adult female losing $105. According to police an known person called the victim, saying that she owes them money otherwise she will be arrested for non-payment. The victim paid. Then on Nov. 4, the victim was again targeted but this time called police instead of paying. Police said the victim was then threatened via phone with bodily harm for non-payment from an unknown location. Police remind everyone to make sure they know who they are sending money to and to make sure that it is a legitimate company or business. Police said to make sure that there is documentation provided as some of these scammers will use the threat of violence against an individual or their family.

Tidioute

Theft. Tidioute Borough police said a Trek bike belonging to an eight-year-old boy was stolen off the property of Curtis Phillips sometime during the past six days. Anyone with information is asked to contact the borough police.

Youngsville

Criminal mischief. Youngsville Borough Police were dispatched at approximately 10 p.m. Oct. 19 to 6 Robertson Drive for a reported incident of criminal mischief. According to police, they found the front window was smashed by a rock being thrown through it. Anyone with information is asked to contact the borough police, 563-7555, or Crimestoppers.

Criminal trespass. Youngsville Borough Police said they received a call on Oct. 28 about an attempted trespass that occurred on Sunday, Oct 27, at 217 1/2 W. Main St. According to police, someone attempted to kick down the front door of the apartment, but was unable to do so, but severe damage was done to the door. Threats. Youngsville Borough Police said they are investigating threats that were made against a Youngsville Elementary Middle School staff member on Oct. 28. Police said they were told by the school personnel that the threats were written on a notebook, which was found and brought to the police.

Assault. Youngsville Borough Police were said they were called to the Youngsville Elementary Middle School on Nov. 5 for a student who attacked a teacher. Police said a 12-year-old male threw a chair in attempts to hit one of the YEMS staff members. Police said charges are being filed through Warren County Juvenile Probation.

Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to Warren State Hospital on Oct. 31 at 4:20 p.m. after Alexis Cotton, 23, Warren, reportedly subjected a known female victim to physical contact. A non-traffic citation was file through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Elk Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police said that on Oct. 25 Anthony Whippo, 19, Frewsburg, N.Y., was traveling north on Robin Hill Road on snow-covered roadway. Whippo, while attempting to negotiate a left cure in the roadway, lost control of his GMC Sierra, which left the east side of the road and struck an embankment and an electric box with its front end. Whippo’s vehicle then traveled across the roadway and left the west edge of roadway where it then struck a tree and rolled over onto its roof coming to a stop facing north.

Glade Twp.

Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Hatch Run Road at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 1. According to police, Michael Koers, 32, Russell, was eastbound on Hatch Run Road on a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard motorcycle. Police said Koers was negotiating a left curve when he lost control of the motorcycle and laid it down on its left side. The motorcycle slid off the south side of the roadway and went into a wooded area. Police said Koers sustained minor injuries and left the scene without contacting police. Koers will face summary traffic citations, including safe speed, according to police.

Twp.

Theft by unlawful taking. Warren based-state police said between Sept 1 and Oct 25 someone stole one silver gallon propane tank from a camp on Kelly Hill Road owned by Langdon George Riley, 32, Gibsonia, Pa.

Pine Grove Twp.

Scattering rubbish. Warren-based state police report between Oct. 25 and 28 someone dumped carpet and roofing materials on property along Big Four Road owned by Collins Companies. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Pleasant Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police are investigating a theft of an Old Town lime green kayak model Camden 106 from Chapman State Park sometime between Oct. 6 and 31. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Theft by unlawful taking. Warren-based state police said on Oct 30, John Hollabaugh, 52, Tidioute, had his vehicle parked at Country Fair, Pleasant Drive, and while he was inside someone removed the ball and hitch from his vehicle. The stolen items were an adjustable hitch, black in color, $60 value, hitch ball, chrome in color, $20 value. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at 728-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-83 CRIME.

Sheffield Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police are investigating a burglary that occurred at 110 Brockway Lane between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 1. According to police, Kayla Myer, 23, Sheffield, said someone entered her residence and opened drawers and cupboards. Anyone with information is asked to contact the sate police or Crime Stoppers.

Theft by unlawful taking. Warren-based state police are investigating a theft that occurred at 116 Brockway Lane between Oct. 30 and Nov. 1 at an unknown time. According to police, Ashley Mainer, 22, said someone took a Jimmie Johnson “48” kid’s table and chair, valued at $30. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.

Youngsville

Possession of marijuana. Youngsville Borough police said they were called to Youngsville High School on Oct. 31 for a 17-year-old male in possession of a small amount of marijuana and under the influence of a controlled substance. Police said charges have been filed with juvenile probation.

Assault. Youngsville Borough police said they were called to Youngsville Elementary/Middle School for a reported assault on Oct. 25. Police are investigating a 12-year-old female who struck a teacher several times during class. Police said charges are being filed with Juvenile Probation.

Weapons possession. Youngsville Borough police said they have filed charges against a 17-year-old male who threatened two students with a knife in the parking lot at Youngsville High School. The incident occurred at halftime of a high school football game on Oct. 11. Police said charges were filed with Juvenile Probation.

Disorderly conduct. Warren-based state police said on Oct. 29 personnel at Youngsville High School reported that a 15-yearr-old female became disorderly in a classroom. The 15-year-old left the school on foot refusing to return. Police said she will answer to a charge of disorderly conduct before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.
