DAR recognizes four as Good Citizens

Members of General Joseph Warren Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, recently recognized students from the area in the DAR Good Citizens Program and Scholarship Contest. Summer skate camp The Snowbelt Jr. Roller Derby will have a summer skate camp for ages 7-17 for all skating levels from Wednesday through Aug. 2. Sessions will be Sundays from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Russell Roller Rink in Russell. It is $100 first skater, $80 per each additional sibling. Warren County School District expands Summer Food Service Program to Pittsfield

The Warren County School District (WCSD) is pleased to announce the expansion of its 2026 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) with the addition of a new meal site at the Pittsfield Otterbein Global Methodist Church. This federally funded program provides free, healthy meals and snacks to children and teens 18 years and younger throughout the summer. The addition of the Pittsfield site further supports the district's ongoing commitment to ensuring children have access to nutritious food when school is not in session.
