Warren County School District expands Summer Food Service Program to Pittsfield
The Warren County School District (WCSD) is pleased to announce the expansion of its 2026 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) with the addition of a new meal site at the Pittsfield Otterbein Global Methodist Church.
This federally funded program provides free, healthy meals and snacks to children and teens 18 years and younger throughout the summer. The addition of the Pittsfield site further supports the district’s ongoing commitment to ensuring children have access to nutritious food when school is not in session.
The Pittsfield Otterbein GMC will offer a bagged lunch meal service each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting Monday, from noon through 12:30 p.m. and continuing through July 31. Beaty Park & Playground, Crescent Park & Playground, Lacy Playground, Sheffield Memorial Park, and Warren Area Elementary Center will continue to serve until July 31 as well. Warren Area Elementary Center will also serve breakfasts from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Beaty Warren Middle School meal service ended on June 30.
Mealtimes for each site are:
— Pittsfield Otterbein GMC serving lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m.
— Beaty Park & Playground lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m.
— Warren Area Elementary Center serving breakfast from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. as well as lunch from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
— Crescent Park serving lunch from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
— Lacy Playground serving lunch from 11:30 to noon.
— Sheffield Park serving lunch from 11:30 to noon.

SFSP, funded by the US Department of Agriculture through reimbursements from the
Pennsylvania Department of Education, provides meals without charge, regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, or disability, and there will be no discrimination during the meal service.The district asks families to consider letting staff at non-school district sites know when
their child will want a meal to help plan for daily meal orders. Meals must be eaten on-site.
Please be aware that dates and times may change. The district will notify the public of
changes via site signage, its website, mobile app, and the WCSD Facebook page. The USDA
Summer Meal Finder website, located at https://www.fna.usda.gov/sfsp/sitefinder, will list any
specific dates when Warren County sites will not offer meals, as well as the locations of other
sites across the country.
