Summer skate camp

The Snowbelt Jr. Roller Derby will have a summer skate camp for ages 7-17 for all skating levels from Wednesday through Aug. 2. Sessions will be Sundays from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Russell Roller Rink in Russell. It is $100 first skater, $80 per each additional sibling. Bocce group plans picnic

Warren Bocce Group will have its mid-summer picnic at Betts Park on Monday at 4 p.m. with a meal at 5:30. Bring a dish to pass, your drinks and table service. If you would like a half rotisserie chicken, the cost is $5 per person. Contact Karin Cunningham at 352-430-8980 by Thursday as chickens need to be pre-ordered. Everyone is welcome.
