Christian Women to meet Tuesday

Jamestown-Warren Christian Women Village Missions Country Partners will hold its May luncheon Tuesday, May 9 at noon at RealLife Church, 556 E. 2nd St., Jamestown, NY. Bridge results

Shelley Dahlie and Pat Fincher placed first Monday evening at the YMCA with Lynn Way and Richard Woodruff in second. Sherry Griffiths and Bill Massa were first and second Tuesday at the Allegheny Community Center. At the Woman’s Club on Thursday, Donna Holding came in first and Alice Kellogg was second.

Garden club meets

The Hill & Dale Garden Club met for the first time this year on April 26 at Mission Covenant Church. The speaker was Paul Baglia who provided information on Bluebirds. A total of 31 members were present. Garden Therapy is set for June 12 at the Rouse. A sign-up list for clean up at the Miles Marker being distributed. The next meeting will be held on May 24 at the Herb Mill in Niobe, N.Y., from 2 to 4 p.m.

Retirees to meet Friday

The Osram-Sylvania lady retirees will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 5, at West End Takeout (formerly Chiodo’s).
