Wiltsie Ladies Aid rummage sale is

Wiltsie Ladies Aid will hold its annual sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, and Saturday, Oct. 8, at Wiltsie Community Church, 2981 Swede Hill Road, Russell. The sale will feature Scrubbie’s Rag Rugs, jewelry, dishes, baby items, towels, and many new items.

Caregivers support

The first of two October meetings of the Caregivers Support Group will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave. E. Participants may enter from the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance to the Winger Room. All meetings are open to all caregivers and anyone interested in learning more about Alzheimers’ Disease and other dementias. Time for questions and sharing will be included in the meeting. One of the topics for the meeting will be the results of the recent Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease. Plans and topics for future meetings will also be discussed.
