HOSPICE IS A TREATMENT
CHOICE
“Hospice” can be an intimidating word– but it’s a lot less intimidating when you understand how Hospice can help you AND those who care for you. If you’ve found your life has grown into a pattern where your only outings are medical appointments, ER visits and hospitalizations, you should ask about Hospice as a treatment option. Hospice is a treatment for anyone who has a life-limiting diagnosis, and their death is likely within 6 months without life-sustaining treatment. What does “without” life-sustaining treatment mean? It’s a series of choices advocating for your quality of life. Most hospice care takes place in your own home, or the place that you call home. Hospice decisions are about life quality versus life quantity. Hospice of Warren County is the only not-for-profit Hospice provider in Warren County. To find out more please stop in at the Hospice House located at One Main Ave. in Warren- or call (814) 723-2455.
