A Michigan State Representative (Dem.) is facing censure from Michigan state democrats for grievances she committed; among them was a visit to Pres. Dear Editor, Since the mandatory closing of non-essential businesses, I have had time to view the daily briefing from the White House on the status of the pandemic, COVID-19, hosted by our esteemed leader. He fashions himself as a mythical hero, particularly adept at saving our health and our economy. Today’s episode of the ongoing saga was an example of manifest stupidity. Dear Editor, Kudos to the PA Dept of Environmental Protection (DEP) and other officials who decided to bring back spraying for black flies this season. Last year was the worst ever — it was nearly impossible to enjoy going for a walk, do yard work or basically any other outdoor activity because of them. When trying to promote Warren County as a beautiful area, it will certainly help that we don’t have to be swatting at black flies. Thank you! ‘Face masks vs. hard-of-hearing’

Dear Editor, During these times of the COVID-19, Pennsylvania requires the state residents to wear face masks. My husband and I follow these rules as we know this is important to eliminate the spread of the coronavirus. This requirement can be trying. I was diagnosed with a hearing loss when I was five years old and have been wearing a hearing aid since I was six. Within a few months, it will be 60 years wearing an aid.
