Risks with Biden Dear Editor, President Joe Biden served 36 years in the Senate then eight years as vice president. He illegally removed classified documents as he left those offices. Some were stored in damaged cardboard boxes in a vulnerable garage. Special counsel Robert Hur recommended no charges as Biden is a “well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory.” But these removals go back at least 15 years; was he elderly and memory-impaired then? Actions over words Dear Editor, Years ago, as an undergraduate student, at a major university an Ethics and Business Law professor suggested that we read an ancient and historic book , which among other subjects, described human nature regarding truth and deceit. Rental rebuttal Dear Editor, This letter is in response to the recent article regarding short-term rental regulations and ordinances in the Times Observer. Extensive coverage was given to Arthur Stewart and his emphatic, unfortunately ill-informed understanding of the impacts of short-term rentals. I’m under the impression he has not done any home purchasing or rental searching in recent years. Another gospel Dear Editor, I concur with the letter in the Feb. 10 edition. However, I am one who does not put much faith in polls, because they are not dependable and sometimes far from accurate. We rest our faith in the Holy Scriptures, and the Scriptures alone. He’s absolutely correct, a vast number of churches are endorsing sin in favor of an act of love.
