AOC to ride The Allegheny Outdoor Club on Sunday, Aug. 1, will ride bikes from Rouseville to Franklin. The group will leave from Betts Park at 1:30 p.m. or participants can meet at the McClintock Well trailhead in Rouseville at 2:30 p.m. Earl Ross will lead the ride and can be reached at (814) 706-1198 with any questions. Church to chicken and biscuits dinner The Russell United Methodist Church will host a drive-through chicken and biscuits dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 13. A $10 donation will support the Cozy Quilt Ministry. Red Cross to hold blood drive

The American Red Cross will host a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at the Hampton Inn, 3291 Market St. Ext., Warren. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.
