Community Blood Drive

Community Blood Bank is holding blood drives Tuesday, Aug. 17, from noon to 5:30 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Center in Warren; and Wednesday, Aug. 18, from noon to 5 p.m. at Youngsville Fire Hall. Those willing to help are encouraged to schedule an appointment by contacting Jerman at (814) 688-3696. Walk-ins are accepted.

Art and Craft Festival

The 41st annual Wild Wind Folk Art and Craft Festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, and Sunday, Sept. 12, at the Warren County Fairgrounds, Route 6, Pittsfield. The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, rain or shine.

Annual Bike, Dice Run

Bike, Dice Run is Aug. 21

BROCTON — The American Legion Riders of Western New York, Chautauqua County is having its annual Bike, Dice Run on Saturday, Aug. 21. It will be at the John W. Dill Post 434 Brocton American Legion. Registration is from 9 to 10 a.m. with kickstands up at 10. Cost for single is $15, with rider $20. Dice $5.

Food will be provided. A Chinese auction and 50-50 drawing will take place. All proceeds will be used in helping our local veterans.

Golf scramble scheduled

The annual St. Joseph’s School Golf Scramble will be held on Sunday, August 29 at 1 p.m. at the Jackson Valley Golf Course. All funds raised will support St. Joseph School’s operating budget. The 4-Person scramble is $80/golfer ($320/team). The cost includes green fees, cart, lunch, course beverages and dinner. There will be a kayak raffle, a 50/50 drawing and other prizes from sponsors, which include the Erie Otters, Wicked Warren Brewing Company and more. There is also a $10,000 hole-in-one prize and team, proximity and par three prizes.
