Watson Grange meets

Master Wendy Hollabaugh presided over the recent meeting of Watson Grange. Deanna Hollabaugh reported on the successful Dime Pitch at the Indian Festival in Tionesta. The Dime Pitch will be at the Fishing Tournament in Tidioute Sept. 24-26. Winners at the Warren County Fair were: Watson Junior Grange 1st for their exhibit and Watson Subordinate 2nd. Bridge results

Bonnie Smith and Richard Woodruff placed first Monday evening at the YMCA and Diane Callahan and Marge Polito were second. At the Allegheny Community Center Tuesday afternoon, Connie Michell and Sherry Griffiths were first and second. Thursday afternoon at the Woman’s Club, Sally Steele came in first with Donna Holding in second. At the Conewango Club Friday afternoon, Donna Holding and Connie Michell were first and second.

Food bank date set

The 2nd Harvest Produce Express will be at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 258 Dalrymple St, Pittsfield, on Tuesday, Sept. 7. Food pick-up will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. Eighty families will be served and no pre-registration is necessary. Volunteer workers are asked to arrive by 2 p.m.
