Pig roast to be held on Aug. 21
The Spring Creek Sportsmen’s Club, Turner Hill Road, will hold a pig roast on Saturday, Aug. 21, at 6 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door — $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 through 12. Proceeds benefit Spring Creek Sportsmen’s Club efforts to promote sportsmanship in the area of hunting, encouraging youth hunting and sponsorship of hunter trapper education classes
Retired Ladies to meet Friday
The Osram Sylvania Retired Ladies will meet at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at the Shaw House in Sheffield. Everyone is welcome.
