Support Group meets Monday The January meeting of the Monday Caregivers Support Group will be at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 15 at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave. E. Enter the building via the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance. The meeting will be held in the Eaton Room. All caregivers and anyone concerned with Alzheimers and related dementias are encouraged to attend. Information is available from the Alzheimer’s Association and our lending library. EOC to close Monday and Tuesday The Warren-Forest Counties Economic Opportunity Council will be closed Monday, Dec. 25, and Tuesday, Dec. 26, for the Christmas holiday. The council will reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 27.

Christmas Eve Service The Berea Lutheran Church in Wrightsville is holding its Christmas Eve service on Sunday at 11 a.m. Garden club meets The Hill and Dale Garden Club Christmas party meeting was held December 13. Year end donations were finalized and the group decided to support food banks in Sugar Grove and Youngsville, the “Blessing Box” at Mission Covenant Church and student pantries at Warren and Eisenhower. Support group to hold annual luncheon The annual Christmas tureen luncheon of the Caregivers Support Group will be held at noon Monday, Dec. 18, at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave. East. Attendees are asked to bring one of the following: a dish to pass, a veggie or fruit tray, salad, or a snack, or dessert item. Pizza and soda will be provided.
