Support Group meets Monday

The January meeting of the Monday Caregivers Support Group will be at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 15 at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave. E. Enter the building via the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance. The meeting will be held in the Eaton Room. All caregivers and anyone concerned with Alzheimers and related dementias are encouraged to attend. Information is available from the Alzheimer’s Association and our lending library. Support group to meet

HEROES, a support group for parents with children with disabilities, will meet on Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. at the Jefferson DeFrees Family Center. It will be a kid-friendly meeting with activities. The speaker will be Melissa Mclean teaching kids body safety.

Lego social group

A Lego social group will meet over the next several months at the YMCA from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. The dates are Jan. 15, Jan. 29, Feb. 12, Feb. 26, Mar. 11, March 25, April 8, April 22, May 6, May 20 and June 3.
