Christmas Eve Service

The Berea Lutheran Church in Wrightsville is holding its Christmas Eve service on Sunday at 11 a.m.

Garden club meets

The Hill and Dale Garden Club Christmas party meeting was held December 13. Year end donations were finalized and the group decided to support food banks in Sugar Grove and Youngsville, the “Blessing Box” at Mission Covenant Church and student pantries at Warren and Eisenhower. The group also decided to contribute toward a scholarship at the Audubon.

Winter Carnival

HEROES and the Warren County YMCA are planning a Winter Carnival for March 1 from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The all-inclusive event will be geared towards those with special abilities. Bridge results

Lana Creal and Chick Bello were first Monday evening at the YMCA with Shelley Dahlie and Pat Fincher in second. Connie Lucia and Marge Neel were first and second at the Allegheny Community Center on Tuesday. At the Woman’s Club on Thursday, Connie Lucia placed first and Linda Jensen was second.
