Pennsylvania State Police announce arrangements for fallen trooper

ASHLAND – The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) announced the funeral arrangements for Trooper Michael E. Pahira Jr., who lost his life in the line of duty on Wednesday. The services will be held at the North Schuylkill Junior/Senior High School, located at 15 Academy Lane in Ashland. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, from 8 to 10 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. The visitation and funeral service are open to the public. Burial services will be private. Charges withdrawn in felony robbery

All charges against a Warren woman who had been jailed in April have been withdrawn. Cindy C. Corbett, 45, of Warren was charged with third-degree felony robbery – taking property, misdemeanor theft by unlawful taking, defiant trespass – actual communication, receiving stolen property and harassment by the State Police at Warren.
