DUI. Nathaniel P. Seeley, 45, of Warren was charged with DUI: controlled substance – combination alcohol/drugs – first offense, DUI: controlled substance – schedule 1 – first offense and two summary charges August 6 by Conewango Police after an alleged incident July 10 in Conewango Township.
Theft. Whitney M. Calimeri, 42, of Jamestown, N.Y. was charged with theft by unlawful taking – movable property and 23 summary charges of retail theft – taking merchandise August 6 by Conewango Police after an alleged incident May 3 in Conewango Township.
DUI. Jaykup D. Durlin, 31, of Pittsfield was charged with DUI/unsafe driving, DUI/BAC between .10% and .16% and nine summary charges August 5 by State Police at Warren after an alleged incident July 19 in Sugar Grove Township.
W. WARREN COUNTY - VACANT MDJ
Possession of marijuana. Daniel A. Westfall, 70, of Youngsville was charged with possession of marijuana – small amount for personal use, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, three misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of alcohol/controlled substance and two summary charges August 4 by State Police at Punxsutawney after an alleged incident July 1 in Limestone Township.
DUI. Aaron T. McCauley, 46, of Tionesta was charged with three misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of alcohol/controlled substance and ten summary charges August 4 by State Police at Punxsutawney after an alleged incident June 30 in Limestone Township.
DUI. Gregory J. Russell, 64, of Kent, O.H. was charged with DUI/unsafe driving, DUI/BAC between .10% and .16%, four misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of alcohol/controlled substance and two summary charges August 4 after an alleged incident July 2 in Watson Township.
PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE
-- GLADE TOWNSHIP -- A Warren man was charged after Pennsylvania State Police stopped him for a traffic violation and determined he was driving while his operating privileges were suspended for DUI.
According to a Pennsylvania State Police Warren Patrol Unit public information release, troopers stopped a 2016 dark blue Jeep in the 4000 block of Conewango Avenue in Glade Township on July 28. The driver was identified as Syngyn Swartz, 28, of Warren.
Police said Swartz was found to be driving while his license was suspended for a previous DUI offense. Charges were filed through the office of Magisterial District Judge Bauer, District 37-3-01.
The Jeep involved was identified in the report as a 2016 model.
-- PLEASANT TOWNSHIP -- A commercial truck overturned after an apparent mechanical failure sent the vehicle off State Route 62 in Pleasant Township on July 28, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Police said the crash occurred on Route 62 north of Lenhart Road in Warren County. The truck was traveling north at approximately 50 mph when it suffered an unknown mechanical failure.
The vehicle left the northbound lane and struck an embankment on the east side of the roadway, according to the crash report. The truck continued approximately 480 feet before overturning in the northbound lane and coming to a final rest.
The driver was identified as Joshua Gourley, 39, of Mayport. Gourley suffered suspected minor injuries in the crash, police said. He refused medical evaluation and transportation to Warren General Hospital.
The truck sustained disabling damage as a result of the crash.
Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department, Starbrick Volunteer Fire Department, Youngsville VFD and EmergyCare assisted at the scene, along with Pennsylvania State Police personnel.
-- A 30-year-old Pittsfield man was arrested for driving under the influence after a one-vehicle crash in Sugar Grove Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The crash occurred at about 3:26 a.m. July 19 on Page Hollow Road, in the area of 4400 Page Hollow Road. Police identified the driver as Jaykup D. Durlin.
According to the police report, Durlin was traveling northbound on Page Hollow Road when he lost control of the vehicle. The 2006 Honda Pilot left the east side of the roadway before striking a ditch and an embankment.
The vehicle came to rest in the road after hitting the ditch. Durlin was wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred, and airbags deployed.
Police reported Durlin suffered suspected minor injuries. He was not transported by emergency medical services and no medical facility was listed in the report.
Durlin was charged with driving under the influence and unsafe driving following the crash.
