COCHRANTON – After leading at points in the first half, Eisenhower’s girls basketball team cooled significantly in the second half allowing Cochranton to pull away for a 51-25 Region 3 win Thursday. The Knights (4-9, 2-5 Region 3) managed only six points in the second half. “In the second half we came out and missed a couple shots, (Jaidan) Martinec got hot and we just couldn’t get back into the swing of things,” Eisenhower coach Mike Logue said. One day after fading late in the fourth quarter against Iroquois, Eisenhower outscored Union City 26-9 in the fourth quarter Wednesday en route to a 75-47 Region 3 road win. LAWRENCE PARK – Iroquois outscored Eisenhower 19-11 in the fourth quarter as the Knights dropped a Region 3 road contest on Tuesday, 62-56.
