“It has been quite a few years since we’ve been at the Big Red Invitational,” said Eisenhower coach Darlene Beach. “This last Saturday was usually one of our weekends off, but because of a schedule change, we decided to run here to compete against some of the schools in this part of District 10. Though the kids were running on tired legs, we had some strong performances. Our top three varsity girls, Emily, Izzy, and Peyton, were medal winners and have all had a great start to the season. Alex Lund, in his first varsity season, is consistently running number two for the boys. Newcomer Mason Britt is getting stronger every race. Jonathan Bogniak, in the JV race, ran his personal-best time.”
