Rock, roll, relax at Fam Jam 5
The Pond, an outdoor event venue located at 9100 Route 957 in Sugar Grove will hold “Fam Jam,” its biggest event of the year.
Since 2022, this music festival has grown each year making it necessary to extend into its first two-day event on Friday and Saturday, June 12 and 13. There will be 16 live local musical performances including: PA Line, Qwister, We Speak Canadian, Charity Nuse, Kallie & Kayla, Circuit Aura, Royal Tea Service, Adam Gould, Miranda Wilcox, Gavin Paternitti, Campfire Junkie, Jade Giambrone, Chris Ei, Cheney Maxine, Jerod Eggleston and Reefer Knifefight.
Providing a mixture of main stage bands and side stage acoustic solos, the event offers more than music. Food trucks, vendors, and tent camping will be available. In addition, plenty of activities for children including rock and face painting, inflatable activities, and a musical petting zoo are scheduled. The event is entirely run by volunteers.
“We want to be inclusive for everyone of all ages,” said event co-founder/coordinator Tamara Pudder. “It has organically doubled in size every single year. It started out as a very small friends and family get together with some music and has blossomed into this. We love supporting everything local and we also have a new large community fire pit this year, thanks to my dad, (Dave Pudder Excavating) as well as help from volunteers.”
Due to the growth of the event, presale tickets are $25 and can be purchased online. Cost at the gate will be $30. The ticket includes entry for two days, tent camping and all the music. There is an additional $5 vehicle parking fee. Kids 12 and under are free.
