The Warren YMCA will host a Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run event beginning at noon on Sunday, July 28, at Betts-Jackson Field.

MLB’s Pitch, Hit & Run program is a free event series for youth boys and girls, consisting of disciplines important in baseball and softball.

Participants will compete in age divisions 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, or 13-14 with the age cut-off as of Nov. 15, 2024. They will be tested, and their measurements recorded for points. Based on their scores, winners will advance from local events to a Team Championship and then to the Finals hosted at the 2024 MLB World Series.
