In the make-up shoots from last week in the Warren County Trap League, Sheffield handed Tidioute its first loss of the season 338-337, Brokenstraw topped Sugar Grove 329-319, Corry downed Kalbfus 342-310 and Pine Grove shot 340 in its bye week.

Perfect 50s were recorded by Sheffield’s Logan Sabella — his first 50 — Tidioute’s Sean Spencer, Corry’s Tagen Dingfelter and Derek Mitchell, and Kalbfus’ Michael McDunn.

High Lady was Brokenstraw’s Morgan Frontera with a 48. Sabella was High Jr. with his 50. Corry’s Zach Roush was High Sub Jr. with a 49. Sheffield’s Lee Dunkle and Pine Grove’s Paul Prentice were High Veterans with 49s. Pine Grove’s Dean Spiridon was High Sr. Veteran with a 48. Pine Grove’s Bob Darney was High Super Sr. Veteran with a 49.

LAKEWOOD, N.Y. — Joe Saber’s 36 led the gross scores, while Nick Archuleta and Saber had net 29s to lead the Youngsville Senior League at Maplehurst Country Club.

John Blum shot a gross 39, while Archuleta, Jim California and Dale Johnson shot 40s.

John Urbanik had a net 30 and John Meleen had a 31.

Johnson, Meleen, Saber, Al Kuzminski, Tim Sandberg, Bubs Smith, Juan Torres and Gary VanGuilder each made a birdie.

Blum was closest to the pin with his second shot at No. 12.

Team 2 — California, Johnson, Bob Holt and Heil Himber — won the first-half title.

RUSSELL — United Refining won the first-half title in the Park Avenue Motor Care League at Blueberry Hill Golf Course with 202 points.

American Legion was second with 196 points, followed by Jones Pest Control (194.5), Sheffield Timber (193), NAPA Auto Parts (189), Ed Shults of Warren (187), Park Avenue Motor Car (182.5), The Shockers (182.5), Eagles (181), Ace Hardware (178), Jones Chevrolet (175), Morning Sun (174.5), Midtown Motors (172.5), Mt. Laurel FCU (172), Voty’s (167.5), Sheffield Rod & Gun (164), R&W Truck Service (154.5) and Frailey’s (132.5).

This week, Jerry Bancroft shot a 35, followed by Jamie Mohney (36) and Doug Swanson (37).

Ralph Keniston’s 29 led the net scores, while Jack Hellman and Bill Wilson had 30s.

Mohney made two birdies, while Bancroft, Jim Agnew and Bill Petransky each made one.
