Warren’s Lindell wins 3,200 at Fort LeBoeuf

WATERFORD — Warren’s Sam Lindell finished first in the 3,200 meters at Saturday’s Fort LeBoeuf Track and Field Invitational.

Lindell, winning in 10:27.20 by 16 seconds, highlighted a number of Dragons who earned medals.

In the girls team standings, Warren finished fourth, Eisenhower 11th and Sheffield 16th. On the boys side, Youngsville was 12th, Warren 15th and Eisenhower 17th.

Quinn Norris was fifth in the 1,600 meters for Warren’s boys.

For the Lady Dragons, Lindsay Madigan (100 meters, triple jump, javelin), Lilly Newton (200 meters, 400 meters, high jump), Morgan Alexander (1,600 meters, 3,200 meters), Adison Cullers (100-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles) and Kylie Fehlman (shot put, javelin) were all multiple-medalists for the Dragons. Brynn Norris (800 meters), Bella Campbell (800 meters), Riley Evan (3,200 meters), Laney Gatto (pole vault) and the 400-meter relay team all earned top-eight meet finishes.
