Flora Bilott

Nelson’s FTMA Karate Team member Flora Bilott of Tidioute recently competed at the AAU Mid-Atlantic District Karate tournament.

The tournament was held Sunday in Bangor and was an AAU National Tournament qualifier. Flora won three silver medals in her fighting, weapons and forms divisions.

Flora is currently nationally ranked fourth in Weapons Advanced Division, sixth in Intermediate Weapons, 11th in Intermediate Fighting and 11th in Intermediate Forms.

She is the daughter of Denise and Ben Bilott of Tidioute.
