Warren falls to DuBois

Warren’s baseball team committed six errors in its final home game of the season, losing 11-3 on Friday to visiting DuBois.

The Beavers scored eight unanswered runs before Warren put a run on the board. In all, Warren and DuBois had nine hits apiece, but six walks, two hit batters and six Warren errors were the difference.

Four of the Beavers’ five third-inning runs were unearned.

In the loss, three Dragons had two hits apiece, including Ben Sowa’s 2-for-4 with a double, run, and two RBIs. Owen Blum and CJ Wyman added two hits each, including a double apiece.

For DuBois, Tyler Chamberlain allowed six hits and a run over six innings, striking out eight without a walk.

Warren falls to 4-12 overall with three road games left. DuBois improves to 8-9 overall.
