Eisenhower no-hit in 6-0 road loss to Union City

UNION CITY — The Eisenhower Knights traveled to Union City on Monday for a Region 3 baseball game against the Bears.

Union City threw a no-hitter and beat the Knights 6-0.

The only offense Eisenhower could generate was three walks in the sixth inning. The Knights’ inning would end with runners on second and third base.

Cameron Jakubczack came on in the second inning to relieve Kael Hunt, who had to leave the game due to an injury.

Jakubczack pitched well, going 4 2/3 innings, giving up five runs on seven hits with five strikeouts and one walk.

Eisenhower will end its season today at Saegertown.
