Golf leagues
WARREN — Jamie Mohney and Mark Silvis both shot a gross 38 and Mohney recorded a 25 net to pace the Monday Senior League at Blueberry Hill Golf Course.
Silvis, Jeff McClement and Dick Davis collected two birdies, while Jim Agnew, Jay Goodwell, Stee Gelotte, Mohney and Ike Borland had one apiece.

WARREN — Kellie McClement shot a 46 to lead the A Flight gross scores and April Thrap recorded a 31 to highlight the Monday Women’s League at Jackson Valley Golf Club.
Patti Larson, Andrea Conklin and Tharp had the fewest putts with 15 in that flight; and Kristen Petrarca and McClement won the special tournament (best score on par 3s and 5s). McClement (No. 1), Julie Moyer (No. 3), Mary Beth Whiting (No. 3) and Patti Larson (No. 3) recorded birdies.
In B Flight, Tracey Rickard hda the low gross with a 49 and Lynne Rulander had the low net with a 33. Marian Aranyos had the fewest putts (13) and Rickard paced the special tournament with a 21.
Finally, the C Flight, Rickel Stearns’ 55 paced the gross scores and she also tied in the special tournament with Mary Ann Wilcox (25). Katie Penley had the low net (27) and the fewest putts (17).

LAKEWOOD, N.Y. — Tim Sandberg shot a gross 38, Gary VanGuilder a 39 and John Blum and Don Melson a 40 to lead the Youngsville Senior Golf League at Maplehurst Country Club.
Top net scores were VanGuilder and Doug Wheeler with a 32, Dick Stout with a 33 and Nick Archuleta with a 34.
VanGuilder (No. 12) and Sandberg (No. 17) recorded an eagle; and Wheeler, Bill Gross, Rod Korbar, Al Kuzminski, Mike Peyton, Jim Polach and Larry Smith each had a birdie.
Bob Saunders (No. 16) was closest to the pin.

Mikah Benton, Jaret Lang and John Papalia combined for 11 strikeouts and Matt Shippee and Grant May each had three hits to pace Nyquist Long and Associates to a 15-2 victory over Allegheny Prints in a Majors game.
Tucker Sanford added an inside-the-park home run and a triple; and Lang and Papalia each smacked a double for the winners. For the second game in a row, Ryker Chase made a fine defensive play in right field.
Wyatt Wilson and Connor Smith had a hit apiece for Allegheny Prints. Smith, Logan Ristau and Bentlee Moore shared the pitching duties.

Behind solid pitching from Glade Rulander and Ackron Hoisington, Struthers Hose Company downed Holden Well Services 6-2 in a Minors game at Sheffield.
Ackron Hoisington, who struck out the side to seal the win, helped his own cause with a single, and Cameron Groves scored a pair of runs.
Connor Rockwell and Waylon Holden led the way for Holden Well Services, highlighted by Rockwell’s single.
After falling short earlier in the season, Superior Tire and Rubber notched a 16-7 victory in their rematch against Warren Co. Drug Task Force.
Pitching for STR, Curtis McGraw allowed two runs on three hits and two walks.
Marcus Williams had five RBIs while going 3-for-4, including a three-run triple.
Charlie Steber went 2-for4 and drove in three runs.
For Warren Co. DTF, Lincoln Mortenson went 3-for-3, recording two doubles and two runs scored; Ryan Klenowski went 2-for-2 with a double and scored three runs; and Griff Davidson also had a double and scored twice.

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows defeated Warren Overhead Door 22-10 in girls Majors.
For I.O.O.F., Sophia DePasquale, Maci Benton, Peytynn Kirby and Allison Hackman had three hits apiece. Kirby hit a triple and a grand slam home run; Brooke Scott and Shelby Rhoades both added two hits; and Haley Kent, Sophia DePasquale, and Maci Benton all scored four runs.
The Independent Order of Odd Fellows also defeated Dreamboat Marine & Hobbies 7-6.
Maci Benton struck out six and Rylee Rectenwald scored the winning run with great base running.
