Bowling leagues

Cindy Reasbeck’s 213-585 led the Youngsville Ladies League at Valley Bowling Center.

Cindy Shafer followed Reasbeck with a 200-534, Cheri Wolfgang had a 178-519, Maureen Glenn rolled a 203-504 and Judy Rapp had a 182-460.

Marc Lobdell’s 223-629 paced the Brokenstraw Couples League at Valley Bowling Center.

Chris Wenzel spun a 209-602 followed by Austin Fitzgerald (209-591), Lou Campbell (218-566), Scott Gustafson (193- 563) and Pam Jameson (175-475).

Tom Traub drilled a 216-609 during the Silver Sliders Bowling League at Valley Bowling Center.

Casey Wiedmaier had a 181-537, Linda Ross cracked a 170-464 and Melody Traub had a 174-451.

Slater Run Resources (Gary Vanguilder, Al Cressley, Curt Hollabaugh, Mike Cressley and Cole Cressley) took the Youngsville City League team championship over the NFL Pro Bowlers (Jeff Albaugh, Bill Ward, Art Luther, Dale Johnson and Alex Johnson) 3,138-3,068 at Valley Bowling Center.

Individually, Bryan Olsen rolled a 257-648 followed by Johnson (248-647), CJ Jones (225-632), Mike Cressley (216-623), Ward (207-613), Hollabaugh (223-601), Cole Cressley (209-590), Dave Jones (202-583), Matthew Kirkpatrick (225-580), Dave English (215-569) and Al Kuzminski (193-563).

Bowling for White’s Excavating, Matt White spun a 248-258-246-752 during the Warren Midtown Motors League at Valley Bowling Center on March 16.

Casey Vincent rolled a 252-669 followed by Alex Johnson (224-606), Austin Fitzgerald (234-604), Cody Vincent (214-601), Jeff McMeans (209-596), Mike Cameron (201-570), Blaine Gunn (204-569), Keith White (203-564), Rob Stockton (223-563) and Jon Stuart (203-562).

On March 23, White led the league with a 279-276-196-751. Alex Johnson, bowling for Milk and Hunni Ministries, cracked a 226-257-226-709.

Austin Fitzgerald rolled a 253-658 followed by Casey Vincent (255-641), Jon Stuart (236-632), Paul Bobelak (205-602), Nathan Britton (202-595), Jeff McMeans (204-584), Keith White (232-582), Ben Mueller (199-571), Mike Cameron (197-571), Dale Johnson (225-568) and Blaine Gunn (212-562).

Bowling tournament

Jeff Trohoske made the most of making his first cut taking down Austin Fitzgerald 167-128. Trohoske then gave top-seed Joe Letendre a run for his money where they tied 165-165 and headed to a ninth- and 10th-frame rolloff. Letendre was able to just edge Trohoske out 28-26 to capture his first Spring Sportshot Sweeper Tournament win.

The next tournament will be tonight at 6 p.m. at Valley Bowling Center.

Individually, in qualifying, Letendre led the way with a 192-164-190-546, and a handicap 639. Fitzgerald qualified with a 153-191-221-565 and a handicap 631. Trohoske had a 158-197-134-489, handicap 588. Bill Ward had 151-214-157-522, handicap 579; Don Umpleby had a 101-133-159-393, handicap 573; Cody Vincent rolled a 225-151-194-570, handicap 570; Joe Yaegle had a 176-172-140-488, handicap 557; Alex Johnson drilled a 153-220-181-554, handicap 554; Dale Johnson had a 135-166-190-491, handicap 539; Mike Melice cracked a 146-187-143-476, handicap 530; Casey Vincent had a 215-156-147-518, handicap 527; and Tab Berkhous spun a 180-187-127-494, handicap 494.
