The Clarendon VFW and AMVETS Post 314 are pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s Marshall Larsen Scholarship.

Meea Irwin and Julia Schultz, both of Warren Area High School, and Emma Jameson of Eisenhower Middle High School have been selected to receive the scholarship in recognition of their academic achievement and dedication. Each recipient read their winning submission essays during the annual Memorial Day ceremony at the post. Their essays described how patriotism and loyalty influenced their personal goals and how they can contribute to honoring and supporting local veterans.

The Marshall Larsen Scholarship is awarded annually by the Clarendon VFW and AMVETS Post 314 to outstanding local students. The organization congratulates Meea, Julia, and Emma on this well-deserved honor and wishes them continued success in their academic pursuits.
