Beaty Warren Middle School’s junior high volleyball teams went a combined 5-1 this past week.

The Beaty 8th graders defeated Eisenhower, 25-11, 25-11, 25-8 on Thursday, and Bradford 25-21, 25-18 and Elk County Catholic 25-13, 25-10 on Saturday.

Stats for the three matches combined included: Maggie Bennett 15 aces, 8 kills; Violet Brooker 9 kills, 2 aces; Paiden Johnson 10 aces, 5 kills, 6 digs; Brooke Sherry 24 aces, 4 kills; Brynn Norris 9 assists, 2 aces; Addison Ristau 9 aces, 4 kills, 4 digs; Peyton Cabisca 14 assists, 3 aces; and, Malaysia Sorensen 5 aces, 15 digs.

Beaty’s 7th graders topped Eisenhower, 25-21, 20-25, 15-13, on Thursday, beat Bradford, 25-19, 25-11, on Saturday, and fell to ECC, 20-25, 27-25, 13-15, that same day.
