“We had hoped to finish higher in the team scores,” stated Knights head cross country coach Darlene Beach. “But we have been dealing with some runners being out due to health issues last week. I give them a lot of credit for competing as several of them just got back to practice at the end of the week.”
Many of the Knight runners ran their best times of the season and that was not lost on Beach “It was good to see several of our runners post personal best or season best times.”
It was the final race for several of the team members.
“I just wanted to thank our senior runners for all they have done and their dedication to the program, they will be missed,” Beach added, as Seniors Madison Cathcart, Alexis Christensen, Brooke Andersen and Kendra Chase all ran their final race as members of the team.
