Eisenhower XC runs at Rocket Invite

TITUSVILLE — The Eisenhower cross country teams competed at the Rocket Invitational on Saturday and saw success across all four teams. Easton Fitzergald shined for the junior high boys, reaching the podium for the Knights with an 18th place finish.

Kierra Wismar cracked the top 30 out of 134 runners for the varsity girls with a time of 22:57 as the girls finished 13th as a team. Joining Wismar in the top 100 were Emily Grosch at 60th with a time of 24:26 and Madison Cathcart at 79th in 25:22.

Joe Mistretta was the only varsity boy from Eisenhower to crack the top 100 out of the 181 runners as he placed 86th with a time of 20:16.

The junior high girls took seventh place as a team and had three girls finish in the top 50 out of the 105 runners. Bryn Lindell took 26th with a time of 11:58, Izzy Grosch was 29th at 12:00 and Hialeah Stanton placed 40th with a time of 12:26.

Fitzgerald led the junior high boys from Eisenhower as he placed 18th out of 96 runners with a time of 9:57. Alex Lund joined him in the top 50 with a time of 10:37 which was good for 32nd place.
