Jackals split pair, finish regular season 19-5

At 19-5, the Jamestown Jackals have earned a bye for the first round of The Basketball League playoffs and are looking forward to a home game at Jamestown Community the weekend of June 10-11.

They concluded their regular season by splitting a pair of games in Michigan over the weekend, downing the Detroit Hustle 127-105 on Friday before falling to the Lansing Pharaohs 113-99 on Saturday.

In Saturday’s game, the Jackals struggled from the field, connecting on just 35 of 96 shots. Julius Brooks led the way with 16 points, Jonathan Lee and Antwan Wilkerson had 14 apiece; and Bernard Edwards chipped in 11.

Ja’Myrin Jackson poured in 33, Sam Muldrow had 23 and Latin Davis added 21 for Lansing.
